Just Eat breakout session
a breakdown of the just Eat event
The Just Eat World Meet was a gathering of Just Eat employees for team building and training sessions as well as a fun dinner and after-party.
The Just Eat team had very particular requirements, calling for a venue with enough individual spaces for team-building breakouts for over 1,000 delegates, but also with a large enough main stage to accommodate all the attendees both in the plenary session and for catering. This narrowed down their list of suitable venues within central London quite significantly, but they were also drawn to the unique character and history of Tobacco Dock, as well as its easily accessible location.
Why Tobacco Dock?
This was a busy event and one which required detailed delegate flow logistics to ensure the attendees were kept in the right places without lengthy waits. Our experiences teams worked closely with the event organiser to advise on the best ways to achieve this. Meanwhile, the operations and facilities teams offered their considerable experience to help our clients manage all the elements to ensure the event ran without a hitch. The client was also particularly impressed by the close supplier relationships we maintain, meaning that the set-up and execution of the event were made simple and to an exceptional standard.

Without a doubt, we will be back.
Every bit of planning that went into this event was supported by the fantastic operations team at the venue. Nothing felt like a struggle to achieve, which given the particular demands of the event was a godsend. This was mostly down to a very experienced event team and roster of in-house suppliers. Suppliers that work in a venue and know all of its quirks are a true benefit. "
